4. When transporting high-temperature or low-temperature air in the duct, the outer wall of the duct should be treated with insulation (cold retention). The purpose of insulating high-temperature gas ducts is, first, to prevent heat loss from the air inside the ducts (which occurs in centralized air conditioning systems in winter); Another is to prevent heat from escaping into the room during transport of waste heat steam or high-temperature gases, which could raise the room temperature, and also to prevent burns from touching the ducts.
