1. Crane operators must undergo professional safety training, pass the exam, and hold an operating certificate before participating in lifting operations.


2. Before starting work, it is necessary to wear a safety helmet and strictly inspect all equipment, tools, and rigging to ensure they are intact and reliable. Prohibit overload operation. Hemp rope is prohibited from being used in mechanical transmission.


3. On-site power equipment must be grounded reliably and have excellent insulation; moving lighting fixtures must use safe voltage.


4. For multi-person operations, assign a designated person to command, unify signals, and ensure clear communications. Strictly follow the orders of the chief commander or the signals. If operators cannot clearly see the command signals, a relay assistant should be set up to accurately transmit the signal.


5. When lifting workpieces, first check whether the binding is secure. Install pads where the rope passes through sharp edges, then test lifting 0.5 meters above the ground. Only after inspection and confirmation of the safety can lifting proceed. 


6. When using lifting and pulling rods, positioning must be correct, bottom seals must be reliable, and if necessary, cable ropes should be used for tightening. Winding ropes must not be used to prevent twisting, bending, sinking, or tilting after being forced. 


7. When operating the winch machine, it is necessary to follow instructions, read the signals clearly, and operate correctly. Strictly enforce: do not drive if the signal is unclear, the steel rope is off course, overloaded, or if the brakes are not working. When using a winch for traction, no slip rotation is allowed during operation. 


8. When using the jack, the base must be solid, placement stable, and correctly select the key points and balance points for the object being lifted; A wooden block or anti-slip pad should be placed between the top cover and the heavy object; Slow jacking is done with the lift, and when multiple units are lifted, the movement must be coordinated. When using a claw-type jack, avoid operating directly in front to prevent the jack from slipping and causing injury. 


9. When using wind ropes, there should be no fewer than two ropes, with reliable fixing positions. It is strictly forbidden to tie them to utility poles, electromechanical equipment, or pipeline brackets. After tensioning, the angle between the cable and the ground should be less than 45°. If it needs to be fixed to on-site building components, approval from relevant departments is required.   


10. When moving objects with a high center of gravity, the ground must be level, sleeper pads should be sturdy, anti-slip mats should be placed between tank wheels and objects, and key support and balance points must be accurately selected. If necessary, use a magnetic wooden mat to follow the movement. Personnel must remain highly vigilant.


11. Warning lines should be set around the lifting area to prevent non-operating personnel from passing. If there are strong winds above force 6, outdoor lifting and hoisting should be prohibited. 


12. Do not leave the work post until the lifting object is secured in place. It is forbidden to interrupt operations when the rigging is under stress or the lifting object is suspended. 


13. When lifting objects are suspended, do not linger or pass under the lifting object or boom, and no one is allowed to stand in front of the winch or pulley, or near the wire rope for pulling.
